MPI(Multi Point vehicle Inspection: free of charge, and we perform it after getting your approval. MPI includes vehicle components from mechanical to electrical systems and maintenance items. We do have a variety of complementary services as well.

Diagnosis labour: $20 – $120 based on the diagnostic difficulty level. We classify the difficulty level of diagnosis into 5 categories, 1 being the easiest and 5 being the most difficult requiring in-depth knowledge and lab-scope analysis or multiple steps of testing along with various types of measuring tools for troubleshooting. Level 1 will charge $25, $50 for level 2, $75 for 3-4, $120 for level 5. Computer scanning(code reading/deleting) without parameter data analysis is considered as level 1, and if required the parameter data analysis, then considered as level 2 or higher. We believe it’s fair to charge like this instead of asking the uniform price like 1 hour or $100 for diagnosis including computer scanning. Because 95% of our diagnosis cases turn out to be level 4 or lower and 60% of level 2 or lower. In addition, we don’t charge diagnosis for level 1 when you authorize its repair, however if you decline the job then we charge you $25, then we set it aside for Charity Repair program.

Repair labour: Lowest level of labour charge among Full Mechanical Repair Shops in town. This can be achieved through the efficient & productive way of work and cost reduction methods in operation. However, we do not compromise the quality of work with the price. The shop’s labour time on your estimate or invoice is based on one of the standard market labour systems called “MITCHELL PRODEMAND”. And we deduct any labour overlaps from close or similar jobs if applicable in order to reduce your total costs.

Warranty: Trusty Auto Service carries one year/20,000km parts & labour warranty for any services extended to our customers including repairs will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 12 months or 20,000 kms, whichever comes first. Repairs required by customer misuse, accident, neglect or alteration maintenance and wear items are excluded.(conditions applied for parts)
